ESSENTIAL OIL OF LEMON (Citrus limon)
Another of the oils that has been called a "cure all" along with Tea Tree and Eucalyptus. From our skin care viewpoint, Lemon oil is bactericidal, antiseptic and its linalool component - as with Lavender - is an insect repellent.
Its excellent cleansing action and a wonderfully sharp scent makes it a useful ingredient in soaps, shampoos and cosmetics.
It is good for small spots and skin eruptions.
Close relative of the Lime. Excellent in aromatherapy blends in which it is useful against sunburn.
