PIONEER MARIGOLD HERBAL SOAP
Cromwell's troops used poultices of Marigold and Rosemary paste, layered between linen squares and applied directly to battlefield wounds. The first regular use of a field dressing in the army. Calendula is a wonderful plant. You can use the fresh flowers in salads, or as gargles and teas for sore throats. Doctors in Germany use Calendula preparations in surgical incisions and on wounds that are slow to heal. It is antifungal and antiseptic. It is used in preparations for the treatment of burns, acne, blisters, bruises, canker sores, cuts and scrapes, gum disease, insect btes, stings and sunburn - to name a few! We use Calendula in almost every ointment and soap we make. It is gentle in application and on your skin, yet powerful in its effect. This soap contains no other essential oils except the natural oil content in the Marigold petals that we use. It has no fragrance. A best seller.
